Kailee Lately

Here are some things Kailee has been doing and saying lately that I want to remember:

-The latest phrase I hear while she's playing with her toys is, "to the rescue!!"

-During bathtime last week Kailee was washing her legs with a washcloth. She looked up at Kody and said, "Daddy, I have the most beautiful legs."

-I bought Kailee a necklace with a little pink owl on it. She was so excited and wanted to wear it immediately. While I was putting it on her she said, "Mommy, I growing up!"

-She came to me the other day and told me she was scared of spiders. Then she added, "Maybe Spiderman can help me."

-Kailee loves a book called Pinkalicious and wants it read to her multiple times a day. Last week I noticed that if I leave out words when I read it to her she will fill in the blank. She has the entire book memorized.

-Kailee recently tore a page out of Pinkalicious. When I asked her why she did that she replied, "I just felt so mad at Daddy. I ripped my book and now he has to fix it."

-If I put her in a dress or skirt she will twirl around in it and say "I have a bootiful dwess just wike mommy!"

-She learned how to walk in stilettos. All on her own.

-She goes through my purse looking for "mints and wipstick."

-Yesterday I was wearing a new bracelet and as soon as Kailee saw it she said, "Oh Mommy, I need to wear this."

-When Grayer cries she gets right up in his face and yells "It's OK Wiggle Baby!" or "Calm Down Buddy, Calm Down!" or "Be Quiet Shunks (Chunks)!!"

-This weekend Kody was in charge of the kids while I was out. When he went to get Kailee up from her nap he asked her if she was hungry. She said no. Then he asked if she wanted fries. She grabbed her stomach and said, "Oh Daddy, I soooo hungry! I need fwies!!"

-Last week I gave Kailee a chocolate covered strawberry. I walked away to check on Grayer and when I came back I found not a trace of the strawberry. Even the leaves had disappeared.

-While sitting at the table during mealtime, Kailee will ask everyone present at the table, "How's your day?" Even Grayer gets asked. As soon as everyone has been asked she moves on to objects in the room and then answers for them.

-Whenever we meet someone new, Kailee proceeds to introduce our family. "This my Daddy, he Kody. This my Mommy, she Sidney. This Wiggle Baby."
