This past week she finally figured out crawling and is so excited to be able to get wherever she needs to go on her own. This video is of her a few minutes after she figured it out and if you listen closely you can hear her hyperventilating because she's so excited.
She also loves to dance. This is secret footage taken by her Aunt Callan.
She now has four teeth.
She started getting teeth about three months ago and Grandma June wrote Kailee a poem about her teeth. She just finished the poem a few weeks ago so I wanted to post it here for Kailee.
"Kailee's First Tooth"
She's been drooly for weeks
and a bit whiney too.
A change in her personality
would make us so blue.
But she's back and you'd
never believe the cause-
of such discomfort and
her great need to gnaw.
Our Kailee Danielle has
cut her first tooth!
A sharp little spot you can
feel on her gum,
as your rub back and forth
with your massaging thumb.

you need to look hard
to see it at all!
She smiles and she laughs
and sits up so tall
At 7 1/2 months
she does it all!
But after lots of hard work
and a few sleepless nights
Our Kailee's first tooth
shines so pearly white.
So the first of many
has made its debut
And Miss Kailee
feels much better too!
Miss Kailee has had a rough time recovering from a short road trip we took last weekend. We hope she will get back to her old self very soon and even though she is a handful right now we still think she's the best baby in the world. We just won't be bringing her on anymore trips in the near future:-D
