Last time I updated this blog Kody had just passed his CEP test. Since then, he received a promotion at work where he is actually using this certification every day. He has a small client base and assists them with E*Trade's Equity Edge software and other equity compensation issues. He loves his new job and has caught on quickly.
In September we took a big grown up leap and made an offer on a house being built on Traverse Mountain. Our offer was accepted and we anxiously waited through all of October for the house to be completed. We made many trips to see the house through this process and it just made us all the more impatient to be out of our apartment! Halfway through October we were surprised to find out one morning that I was pregnant! So we spent the day deciding how to tell our families, what names we liked, where it's room would be in the new house, etc. But later that afternoon we ended up in the emergency room with hemmorhaging and a threatened miscarriage. It was scary but luckily our baby was able to pull through and is doing just fine. Finally, on November 4th, we made the biggest purchase of our lives and closed on our new home. We moved in the next day and have loved every minute of it! And the timing couldn't be better! We are expecting Baby Kailee on June 8th- Kody's birthday! I'm getting excited to start decorating her room and I'm glad she won't be sleeping in a basement apartment!
